  • What are the dates of the Congress?

  • Where will the Congress take place?

Sessions will be held in 5 star Marma Hotel & Convention Centre in Maltepe in İstanbul. For detailed information about the Hotel, please visit http://www.marmaotel.com/

  • What is the location of the Marma Hotel where the Congress is organized?

Marma Hotel is located on the campus of Maltepe University. For more information about location please see http://www.maltepe.edu.tr/imsc/contact

  • How am I going to arrive at the Maltepe University?

You are going to be picked up from the airports by a vehicle when you arrive in Istanbul and will be dropped off to the airport by a shuttle in your departuring day.

  • What is the registration fee of the congress?

The congress is free of charge. The Congress is sponsored by Maltepe University.

  • How can I participate in MUISCMED ?

First, fill out the online registration form at the web site (http://www.maltepe.edu.tr/muiscmed/registration-form) and then send your best abstract to [email protected] until abstract deadline. Scientific committee will review the abstracts and you will be announced via e-mail.

  • Who can attend the Congress?

Undergraduate, graduate, master and Ph.D students can attend the Congress.

  • Do I have to be student at the University in order to apply for the congress?

Yes, you should be an undergraduate, graduate, master or PhD student. Accepted students have to send a document in pdf  to the mentioned email address in order to proof their student status. ([email protected])

  • Do we make presentation at the Congress?

Yes, you make presentation of your paper by using Powerpoint  at the Congress. 

  • In which language should papers be presented?

All papers should be written and presented in English.

  • Are the papers going to be published?

Accepted papers are going to be published in Student Congress Booklet before the Congress is held.

  • Can I join the congress without submitting abstract?

No. Only authors of accepted abstracts can attend the congress. 

  • How will accommodation facilities be organized?

Accomodation facilities in Marma Otel will be funded by Maltepe University.

  • Can we write the paper as a team? 

You can write a paper with a peer. Each paper can be written by maximum three authors.

  • Can I send more than one abstract ?

No. Please send your best abstract in terms of relevancy to the topic and quality of content.

  • How will accommodation facilities be organized?

Accomodation and food will be provided by Maltepe University for all participants who completed the registration process.

  • What services are included and not included in the Congress programme?

  • Is the Congress schedule available?

Details will be posted on our website as soon as they are confirmed. The full Congress schedule will be available on our website soon.

  • Will I receive a Сertificate of attendance?

Сertificate of attendance will be given at the end of the Congress.
